Hazel Foster is FINALLY here, and we could not be happier!!!

I was determined to have a natural birth, but didn't realize how much patience that would intel. After being 2 weeks passed my estimated due date, and NOT wanting to be induced, I tried every home remedy possible. My last result and good friend, Castor Oil, is what did the trick. Monday night (the 24th), my contractions started coming on full force. This was so exciting to me. I was up all night, but still in pretty good spirits because I knew that I was getting close to meeting my little bundle. Then Tuesday came around, contractions spacing out a little more, but still very present. Still no baby. Finally Wednesday night I knew without a doubt, it's time! So we grabbed our bags, that I've had packed for months, and rushed to the hospital. I was dilating surely, but SLOWLY. Alas by 7:30 p.m Thursday night, and after being stuck at a 7 for 12 hours, I consented to get Pitocin so that my stubborn little cutie would come to me. After ramping up the dosage, I then gave up on my natural birth and got an epidural. Ah, relief for a couple hours, still no baby... Epidural wearing off and only working on one side, fully dilated, pushing with all my might for 7 hours, and STILL NO BABY! Given the choice of a Cesarean Section, Vaccume, or Forceps delivery, I opted for the forceps. In a matter of minutes, sweet baby Hazel was ripped out of me. Despite the 3rd degree tear and 85 hours of labor, I felt like the happiest person on earth. Our little girl came out perfect!
This girl SAVED my life! Stacie has sacrificed so much to come to Texas and help me through this journey. I truly could not have done it without you! Love you Stace, more than you know!

Another superhero of mine, my beautiful mom! Johnny, Stacie, and I would be dead right now if she weren't here taking care of our every needs. I love you mom!!!

Thank You Everyone for your love, support, and prayers!!
