Milo's first family picnic

The sun was shining, and so we decided to pack a picnic and head to one of our favorite places; Audley End House.  Once we got there, we found out that some special festivity was taking place, which made it even more fun.  What a good day.

Now for some phone pics...

Audley End House

One place I must take all visitors, is to the beautiful Audley End House.  It's one of my favorite places ever.  Sadly upon our arrival, we discovered scaffolding all over the majority of the magnificent estate... :(

Luckily the grounds were still very pretty, and we were even fortunate enough to see some real kitchen maids at work.  That made it magical and well worth the visit.

The party is nowhere near done yet...

Audley End House

I've been to this beautiful 17th-century country house quite a few times, and completely love it every time.

I especially enjoyed going there with my parents (just would've enjoyed warmer temperatures and a few more flourished flowers), but what a great outing!

Still more adventures to come.

Audley End House

I was delighted to go back to the Audley End House with my fam.  The house, and grounds are truly breathtaking.  I will have to go back at least a third time though, because there's still more to see.

Hazel was ticked when she had to leave her "ho-hee" a.k.a horsey.  We dealt with that one for a while.

Audley End House

After our full and fun week of company, Johnny, Hazel, and I jaunted over to the incredibly stunning Audley End House and gardens.  Any location that has large amounts of perfectly green grass is a very happy place to me.  I could've laid there all day long if I could (but with a few extra layers, 'cause it was extra chilly).  Hazel especially enjoyed her first train ride.  She said choo choo the whole time.

The Audley End House is one of England's grandest stately homes.  It was built in the early 17th century and is now only one-third of its original size!

We didn't take a tour of the inside, but hope to next time.
