Milo's first family picnic

The sun was shining, and so we decided to pack a picnic and head to one of our favorite places; Audley End House.  Once we got there, we found out that some special festivity was taking place, which made it even more fun.  What a good day.

Eltz Castle (part one)

The day after our Germany arrival, we went to Berg Eltz to see the magnificent castle there.  This castle completely took my breath away, and is now sitting in my number one spot of most-favorite-castles!  

After this, we enjoyed a picnic with a family of swans.

Now we're off to a Christmas Market...

A little English picnic

With time running out with my visitors, we decided to whip up a cute little picnic.  British style of course.

We enjoyed some cucumber sandwiches, egg & watercress sandwiches, salmon mousse, olive tapenade, berries & custard, crisps, and more.

And we gobbled it all up while listening to a variety of British musicians such as, David Bowie, Radiohead, Queen, and the Beatles.

Poor Hazel slept through all the festivities, so I guess we'll have to have another picnic soon.
