Birthday Bash Bombay Style

My (what-I-though-was-supposed-to-be) long vacation home is coming to an end.  How this is possible I am not sure.  There are still so many people I need to see, and things I need to do, but unfortunately I might not fit it all in...  

So tonight I decided to gather up some of my favorite people and head to the Bombay House (I know I keep going there, it's just my favorite place).  My birthday is just days away, and so we called it my special birthday dinner since there was a free birthday dessert involved.

I love my beautiful mom, sisters, and nieces; (we missed you Rachelle).

little events from the week

Johnny's been working this week, and so Hazel and I have been feeling a bit bored and anxious. The commissary and rainy playground can only entertain us for so long. I don't love sitting around on base knowing what exciting things are around us, (minus the riots in London), but we've managed to do a few fun things anyhow. Hopefully this weekend we'll get to explore some more. Any suggestions?

p.s. Just found out that Jamie Oliver has a restaurant nearby. Oh boy am I excited!

Top notch Indian cuisine

It was a treat to go eat some good Indian food last night. It was a small restaurant about 10 minutes from the base in a village called Mildenhall.

I betcha haven't seen one of these before.
