Versailles!

I was elated when Johnny found a way to get me to Versailles.  One word, wow!  This place was absolutely incredible, and a little ridiculous.  (The French Revolution makes more sense to me now after visiting this place).

It was also shockingly hot in Paris that day, so we were really sweatin'.  (Which reminds me that Utah heat will definitely shock our systems here soon).

And anyone planning to make a trip to Versailles, rent a golf cart!  That's right.  I sadly discovered that option once it was too late, but I think it would've been a blast zipping through the massive gardens by golf cart.

What a good day, even though I would've loved one last visit into the heart of Paris.  I did at least blow a goodbye kiss to the Eiffel Tower from a distance...

Paris

Johnny was able to take my sisters to Paris for the day!  I was so-oo happy that they were able to go.  I didn't join them unfortunately, because I didn't want to slow down their pace with my waddle and potty stops.  Good thing they ate an extra crepe for me. :)

Still 1 more week of fun!

Paris!

Last week I was so lucky to be able to spend the day in Paris with my great friend, Rachel.  She's sadly moving, and wanted one last Paris trip, and so my wonderful husband watched the kiddos so that we could have a care-free, adult paced day.  We left at 6:30 a.m., arrived in Paris a couple hours later, and returned home by midnight.  We were oh so tired, but it was absolutely worth it!

We enjoyed macaron after macaron, and of course more than one crepe.  Nutella paired with banana was completely life changing...

This was my second trip to Paris, and the Eiffel tower is still my favorite part.  I absolutely loved sitting there, childless, stress-less, and soaking it all in.

Thanks Rachel for organizing this incredible day.  I loved every minute of it; other than our serious sprint to catch our first train.  I felt like I was in a movie chasing our train, and jumping on just in the nick of time.  On second thought, I kind of liked it.

Now for picture overload...
