London (according to the iPhone)

We were excited to have another London outing, and had plans to see many museums and tourist sites, but unfortunately didn't quite get it all in.  We still had tons of fun though, and did a good amount despite a few delays: bus taking forever to arrive, finally arriving but then getting into a wreck (all passengers were fine) so we had to walk to our destination (at my pace), and then lots of rain...

Poor Rachelle had never been to London, and wasn't able to take many pics due to the rain, but good thing a Jamie Oliver's hot dog, and a good tour through Westminster Abbey made our day.

All-in-all it was a fantastic day!

It's almost coming to an end.... :(

London

Our first trip to London was overall fantastic.  We started things off with a delicious meal at Jamie Oliver's Union Jacks restaurant (can't get enough of his restaurants).

We then went to the last-minute ticket office to see what kind of deals we could get on a show.  We weren't familiar with the new show, "From Here To Eternity," but it looked and sounded good from what the ticket vendor told us.  We were so excited and giddy about our chance to watch a show together and on the 3rd row too!

The show started, it was captivating, set in Hawaii in the 1940's.  Sounds good right?  Then the filth began.  They started smoking real cigarettes (which is not cool when you're sitting on the 3rd row), and from there it got so shockingly scandalous and ridiculous, that we left at intermission.  It gave us an eye-full, and serious momentary disappointment, but after looking back, all we can do is laugh.  I absolutely don't recommend that show, unless of course you like to watch really bad things, and live!

Moving forward, we capped off our day by stopping at our favorite Fortnum and Mason cafe to indulge on some delicious ice cream.  Yum.

What a fun and very memorable day!

Still more to come!

London (Day Two)

Have you ever seen the movie Notting Hill, starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant?  Well it has been in our movie collection for quite some time now, which made it extra exciting to actually go visit Notting Hill and see where the movie was filmed.  We even got to see the very blue door where Hugh Grant lived.  They also have an adorable market there that we enjoyed browsing.

But once we got some hunger pains, we decided we had better head back to Jamie Oliver's Diner and try out some other items on the menu.  It was once again delicious.

Hazel and I were both pretty pooped by the end of our journey, but it was well worth it.  (And Johnny's such a good and patient man to take care of two needy girls.)

Now on to pictures, featuring my 25-ish week baby bump.  I'm growing so-oo much faster than I did first time around, which is to be expected.  Johnny even had to tie my shoe at the train station for me because I couldn't quite reach...

 Bye London.  For now.

London (Day One)

With Johnny off of work for the holidays, and with our travel window closing in on us, we decided to book a room in London, and enjoy some quality family time.

We got the most incredibly located hotel room with a perfect view of Big Ben, and the London Eye.  Hazel loved sitting on the balcony and waving to the tourists that were riding the London Eye.

We also tried out one of Jamie Oliver's new restaurants, featuring American-influenced menu items, but of course with a healthified Jamie's twist.  It.was.delicious!

After gorging ourselves, we walked to Winter Wonderland, where Hazel thought she was at Disneyland.  The little cutie loved every single moment of this day, as did Johnny and I.

We capped the night off with a quick swim in the pool, and enjoying the nighttime view of the city.

So much fun!

(I asked Hazel to give me her best pre-swim pose.  This is what she came up with)...

More coming...
