Switzerland (Final Day)

For our second and last day in Switzerland, we started out with a morning stroll through the streets of Lucerne.  Love this place!  But as much as I loved spending time there, I was anxious to see more of the country side.  So we hopped in the car and went on an incredible drive through the Swiss Alps.  (Note: most scenic pics were taken through the car windows).  A favorite moment was when I saw a hillside covered in cows, and as I rolled down the window, I could hear hundreds of cow bells ringing in the breeze.  I liked that.

We ended the evening eating delicious food in Lucerne.  I'm very spoiled.

Ah, Switzerland, you're unreal.  I'm so-oo-oo glad I got to see a part of you before our move!

Next up, France!

Switzerland (Day One)

Switzerland has always been on my bucket list, and I didn't think we'd actually be able to make it.  Luckily Mr. Amazing Foster found a way.  We made the very long drive all the way to gorgeous Switzerland, and stayed in such a beautiful hotel in Lucerne.  For day one, we roamed the rainy streets of Lucerne and soaked in the beauty of this place.

Highlights were walking the Chapel Bridge, and seeing the Lion Monument, which commemorates the Swiss Guards who were massacred during the French Revolution.

Such a neat day!

More to come!
