Our first destination of the day was to visit the glorious Rock of Cashel, also known as St. Patrick's Rock.
According to local mythology, the Rock of Cashel originated in the Devil's Bit, which is a mountain 20 miles north of Cashel, when St. Patrick banished Satan from a cave, resulting in the Rock's landing in Cashel.
This first image I grabbed from the internet, since I wasn't able to capture an image of the entire location due to scaffolding. What a site!
The adventures are still not over!
