Thanksgiving

This year we had a small but wonderful Foster Thanksgiving.

Besides eating lots of yummy food, the highlights were: playing with cousins, riding the four wheeler, playing games, tandem bike rides and chasing grandpa's chickens & turkeys.

We have so-oo much to be Thankful for!

Thanksgiving recap

It has been 5 or 6 years since I've been with my family for Thanksgiving, and so what a treat it was!!  I was too busy mingling and eating divine food, that pictures are few.

I'm so grateful for this wonderful family of mine!

Thanksgiving

It's been many years since we've been with family for the holidays, and so it was especially nice to be apart of the festivities this year.  We had Thanksgiving with the Foster clan, and it was so much fun.  Of course Papa Fos whipped up the majority of the feast, and it was delicious!  (But I have to give a shout out to my brother-in-law for masterfully preparing the turkey.  He was up at the crack of dawn smoking that scrumptious bird).

I'm so grateful that I married into such an awesome family!

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  I know I sure did.

Thanksgiving

Sabrina and I made a traditional Thanksgiving feast again this year.  It was adventurous whipping up everything in her little German kitchen whilst using one little German oven.  Everything turned out great, and I was so happy to be with the Atwoods, and to watch Hazel have so much fun with her friends.

I'm so grateful for good friends, good family, and of course good food.  The list could go on for days.

I am blessed.

Germany, day two: Thanksgiving

We celebrated Thanksgiving on Friday because of our travels.  The women of the household made the traditional feast, and Sabrina's turkey was especially tasty.  It was probably her cool apron that helped with the success.

Hazel was feeling pretty nervous with 4 new adult faces, 7 extra kids, and two big dogs under the same roof, but with lots of love she eventually warmed up to the environment.

Johnny creating all sorts of ruckus.

And I think I now know what Santa should bring Hazel for Christmas;  this doll stroller was a massive hit.  She just wasn't sure how to use it properly.

Once again, more pics to come...
