It was so much fun for Johnny to take his parents on an excursion to Normandy for Veteran's Day weekend. They began their journey by visiting the adorable town of Rouen, which is where Joan of Arc was executed in 1431.
The next day they ventured to Utah Beach, Pointe du Hoc, and the American Cemetery! Pretty cool stuff!
The part that I'm especially sad that I missed out on, was their visit to Mont Saint-Michel. Talk about an incredible sight!
From what I hear, and from these fantastic photos captured by my Mother-in-law, it looks like this was quite the experience. So glad they got to visit there!
