We took the cute snot-nosed girls for a little walk yesterday to enjoy some fresh air and sunshine. Probably some of the sweetest moments I've ever seen.
(And thanks again Jeff and Jenna for that owl hat. I can't get enough of it!)
I took a little break from babysitting last night and met up with my BFFs. Getting to see my friends, while eating at my favorite restaurant of all time, made for a fantastic night. The Bombay house in Provo is truly the best Indian cuisine. What a fun night! Missed my girls that couldn't make it though.
My mom and I have been happy to team up and babysit my sister's two little girls this week while she's vacationing. It's been a house full of excitement, gosh-darn cuteness, fights every two minutes, and lots of sickness. Hazel can't seem to get her health fully restored since we've been here in Utah, but at least it doesn't always faze her.
My dad got this cool cooking device for Christmas that turns your food into perfection. Our pizza night is definitely something I'll never forget. I think my mediterranean creation was probably the favorite (feta cheese is the secret).
Finally all my sisters under the same roof, thanks to Rachelle for making the long trek from Montana. I love having a house full of family. Also glad that Ayla had a birthday so that I could eat the tastiest chocolate cake ever, (I need your recipe Alaine).
I still have lots more loved ones to see, so I'm sure glad It's not a super quick trip this time.
This is what happens when Aunt Becky is in a room with some of her favorite little nieces and nephew. Feel free to stand up and shake your groove thang right along with us.
We've already been in Utah for one week, and have mostly enjoyed every minute. Minus the major jet-lag, and current sickness, Hazel and I have enjoyed some family, friends, a birthday party, and of course skyping time with daddy. Can't wait for week two!
24 hours of traveling with a toddler is probably my least favorite activity, but we made it back to the states safe and sound. Major jet lag, and now a sick Hazel, but we're really enjoying being with family, and can't hardly wait to see the rest of our family and friends.
