Lately

We're still living at my parents house (thanks mom and dad) until we move into our house (details on that are still to follow).  It has been a good time, other than I only get to see Johnny on the weekends, and Milo is an awful sleeper during the week for me...

But at least we've managed to squeeze in some fun outings, like pizza and gelato at Station Park with momma.

Other highlights (and proud moments) have been balancing Milo on daddy's hand,

Getting myself one of those fancy phones.

Meeting up with favorite friends from Texas,

Eating good food, shopping, playing dress-up, and getting entertained by dancing robots.

I've also been taking pictures of beautiful friends,

and eating lots of deer meat from these successful mighty hunters; (dad, nephew, brother-in-law and brother).

These cute kids have also been cuter than ever.

And we've just loved spending time with cousins, having tea parties, and more.

What a lucky bunch we are!

More free fall fun!

I'm all about a good deal, sunshine, and good company.  In Springville they're having some fall festivities, and for no charge, so my sis and I took the kiddos for an fun little outing.

Hazel especially loved the sandbox full of corn kernels and the big slide.
(And I loved cleaning out her panties full of kernels...)

Fall is a good time of year.

6 months old

Happy half birthday to this beautiful British boy!  Wow!

- He can sit up on his own now, but only for 15 seconds..  Before long though, he'll be an official sitter!

- He loves blowing raspberries.

- He fake coughs.  It's hilarious.

- Still teething but no teeth...

- His eyes literally twinkle when he smiles.  And he smiles often, which is the best.

- He loves balancing on daddy's hand like a statue.

- He thinks his sister is hilarious.  It doesn't matter what she does, she always makes him chuckle.

- He loves to groove to Katie Davises version of , "All About That Bass."  It's beyond cute.

- He's starting to get 'stranger danger'.

- He's still not a very good sleeper...(one day, please Milo, this momma is tired).

- He likes going places, getting lots of attention, and receiving plenty of kisses (his neck is my choice area).

We love you sweet boy.  Keep on being the best!

The Red Barn

I grew up just a couple of miles from the famous Red Barn in Santaquin.  I always knew that they had top notch ice cream and other novelty treats, but I never knew what other festivities were available there.

We started off our outing with some homemade ice cream, followed by a tractor-pulled hayride to their pumpkin patch.  There was also a kids maze, hay pyramid, sand box, pedal cart tractor race track, a giant slide (which was Hazel's favorite attraction), and more.  Talk about a perfect fall family day!
