10 months old

This month came around so fast, that I didn't even get around to taking these pics until 6 days after his monthly update.  Shame on me.

I love this little man.

- He now has 4 pearly whites, but I could not get him to smile big enough to see the tops ones... Hopefully next month.

- He still prefers army crawling, and hasn't perfected the proper crawl quite yet.  He can however crawl with his right knee bent, and his left leg sticking straight out.  It's cute and clever.

- He loves sweet potatoes, beets and bananas.  He usually dry heaves at anything else I try feeding him...  (I'm persistent though, because I'm not ok with picky eaters).  Oh, and he loves taking his fish oil every day.  Strange but great.

- He makes the cutest squinty-eyed smile; usually at mealtime.  Again, sadly, I couldn't capture it...

- When he gets excited he squeezes his hands into fists.

- He discovered the stairs, and has gone up two of them before I caught him.  Time for some gates.

- He can pull himself up to standing, and really loves this new skill, because he can now help himself to whatever he wants from the toy box.

- He's still having night time parties every couple hours.  I try to let him cry more (and on rare occasions he'll put himself back to sleep), but it just rips my heart out to let him wail.  (He better figure it out though before he's 1, because this softy momma won't be responding to his nightly demands by that point..)

- He loves to be touched, rubbed and tickled, unless he's nursing, then hands off!

- He FINALLY isn't scared of bath time!  He now splashes up a storm. :)

Gosh he's yummy!

Time to start thinking about his birthday plans.  Yikes!

Lately (according to the iPhone)

Life has been good, but has been whizzing by much too quickly.  A couple weekends ago we had a little family get-away, or 'stay-cation' as we like to call it.  I wanted to eat at my favorite restaurant of all times, Bombay House, and we had a free hotel stay that was expiring, so we had our big get-a-way to...Provo. You'd never know Hazel was a well-traveled child, because her Provo stay was one of her favorites.  That girl loves restaurants, hotels, and swimming, so it doesn't matter if she's in Provo, or Switzerland. ;)

The following week, Hazel had a special daddy/daughter date at Station Park, where they went ice skating and drank hot cocoa.  Her other favorite things. :)

Other highlights have been:

- getting my physical album in the mail!!

- going to my sister's awesome store, Apple Creek, located in Provo and Willard.

- Seeing family (I still pinch myself that we live so close to them).

- Johnny trying to learn how to ride a unicycle.

- Milo trying new foods, and growing new teeth.

- Hazel being hilarious, and keeping me entertained every day.

- Visiting my sweet and wonderful grandma, and activating her mind with her favorite music (have you watched the documentary "Alive Inside?"  So neat!

- Meeting up with friends, and more.

Oh, and as we were driving into Salt Lake the other day I spotted Henry B. Eyring through a window!

Until next update.
