Benihanas Birthday Bash!

On Monday night we went with the Meiers and Atwoods to Benihanas for a little surprise birthday delight.  It was really fun, yummy, and quite entertaining.  The part that I thought was really awesome was that our chef's name was Jose. Or was it Hector?  He was however the best Japanese food cheffer that I've ever seen!

I had to get left-handed chop sticks, not because I'm a lefty, but because I cannot use chop sticks for the life of me.
(For you wondering what left-handed chop sticks are, It's just ordinary chop sticks with a rubber band wrapped around the top.)

I got a little carried away with Adam's birthday dessert, and I don't think his expression shows approval...

Train Tunnel Terror

Here's a little taste of what our train ride was like.  I think Johnny and I were the only ones afraid of the tunnel though...

Roomies Reunite!

One of my very favorite roommates from Utah State now lives in Houston.  I had not seen her for over three years, and so she and her husband came to San Antonio for the day.  It was a joyous reunion!

Workin' hard

My sweet husband worked hard in the yard all day on Saturday.  I found it rather odd though, saying that never in my life would we need to do yard work in February, in Utah.  And only an Audiologist would wear sweet hearing protection like that.

Houston Happiness

On Friday Johnny and I went to Houston to hang with our bestest friends, Mary-Jane and Brian.  The main reason for going there was to see MJ and Ann star in the opera. They were freaking amazing!!  Here are some highlights from the trip.
