Happy Birthday to me!

I'm one year old already and I'm pretty excited about it!

- I'm starting to look more grown up now, 'cause I'm starting to lose some baby weight.

- Eating is still one of my favorite activities. I have to have my puffs in my cup when we go places or else I scream.

- I've taken five steps on my own, but I'm still preferring to crawl.

- I use sign language for food, more, and no.

- I like to brush my hair.

- I won't let my mom put any bows in my hair. She keeps trying, but it's just not gonna happen.

- I finally got my very own Elmo doll, and it is pretty much the best thing ever!

- I say momma, baby, book, and peep.

- I understand just about everything my parents say. It's pretty funny.

- I sing vocal warmups with my mom everyday.

- I usually only take one nap in the day, and I always have to have a binky in my mouth and in my hand or else I can't sleep.

- I like to play peek-a-boo, read books, and explore dangerous areas.

- I would like a little brother to play with, but my mommy still says, no way.

- I usually only eat once in the night now. I just don't want to give it up.

- I still have to head butt family, friends, and strangers.

- I still love to dance, smile, be a stinker, and be entertained all day. What a great life I'm living!

- Now on to year 2!

Garage sale success

We have never done a garage sale, and so we had no idea what to expect. And although it was a lot of work getting everything set up, it was well worth it. We sold nearly every piece of "junk" we had, and the San Antonians gladly accepted. I will never forget seeing the mad dash of cars speeding up to our house a half hour before we were suppose to begin, and what seemed like all of Mexico jumping out of the car at once. It was an on going party for about seven hours.

Johnny, a.k.a Money man, looked really cool in his fanny pack.

Hazel was a gem all day. She loved the hustle and bustle of people, and her boyfriend Jack to play with. I don't know who makes me smile more in this pic.

Minus the swamp and sweat, it was a fantastic day!

p.s. I never knew that I had such mad bartering skills.

I bid you farewell...

Johnny had to drive my car to Dallas, so that it can get shipped to England...(teardrop)...

Teething biscuits plus a special talent

This girl loves to eat, and every time I take her out of her highchair she screams. She thinks teething biscuits are pretty awesome, because it extends the eating time period.

Hazel likes to headbutt. No one taught her this intelligent act, she just learned it all on her own. She has to head butt my forehead, oh, about 60 times a day. She likes to head butt strangers too. She's now started to headbutt objects. This is an example of her wanting to headbutt the camera. It begins with the evil eyes, and looks something like this. Hope you're lucky one day and get to experience a headbutt from her.

Feeling sexy today

I put Hazel in the living room and walk away. 30 seconds later I come back to a sexier looking Hazel.
