Audiology farewells

We had a wonderful get-together for all of the Audiologists that Johnny works with before the split.

Johnny and Pete are the only ones moving, and so they got their icecream cake they've been wanting. We insisted on them sharing the first cut.

This is Johnny's Flight Commander's wife, and one of the sweetest girls I know! Hope our paths cross again!

Hazel was loving all the attention. She usually will gravitate to the person with the coolest technology.

Thanks for the great party Erin. Hope to see you all in England!

Jazz on the river

I love Jazz music (with some exceptions), and have longed for it ever since I moved to Jazz-less San Antonio. Of course right when I'm leaving I find out about this amazing jazz club at the riverwalk. I was beaming by the end of the night.

Here's the main man "Jim Cullum."

This incredible band plays here 5 days a week.

We enjoyed some virgin pina-coladas, and some final bonding moments.

It didn't take long for my friends to inform the band that I was a jazz singer. I got to sing a rendition of Summertime, and I loved every second. (I think you can tell by the smile on my face).

Jim had a crush on us. He lingered at our table for quite some time.

I've never been downtown at midnight, but it was quite an adventure. You would've thought that our drinks were spiked.

I love you girls. Thanks for telling us about this venue Joette. Maybe one day we'll all be able to go again...

And summing it all up

Well I began my amazing Utah visit up in Draper at my sister's house while Johnny was in Moab. I love these two pretty nieces of mine so much, that I wish I could pack them in my suitcases...

Oh how I love the mountains. This is the view out my sister's kitchen. A.MA.ZING!

Hazel was just as happy as I was to be in Utah. (She'd probably be a little more so if I'd change that morning diaper).

I got to see my long lost brother.

Oh how I love these girls. I will miss you all dearly.
(We make cute kids)

Hazel loved spending time with Grandpa Lafferty,

Her aunts,

and cousins.

She mastered the scrunchy smile.

And enjoyed the beautiful weather!

Johnny made a pretty sweet slippin' slide.

We enjoyed playing percussion to grandpa's organ skills.

We had a few water fights.

Oh how I love these faces. XOXOXO

The night before our dreaded departure back to sweaty (103 degrees plus humidity) Texas, we were delighted to see a big beautiful double rainbow. That always cheers a person up.

Thanks mom, and dad for treating us like a king and queen. We love you all so much!!!

p.s. Have you started your England fund yet?
