About ten minutes from where I live is a village called Newmarket. It is considered the birthplace of horse racing, and it is the largest racehorse training center in England. It's taking me nearly two years to finally attend one of these horse races, thanks to Charlotte for hooking me up with a free ticket!
I've seriously longed for the day that I could get all decked out, and sport a fancy hat. The good news is I finally got to wear one of those hats, the bad news is, because it was a last minute invite, I didn't have time to get decked out (to my liking anyway). But I did almost think that I was Audrey Hepburn for a minute, while I was cheering on Matrooh (the racer from USA) that I bid a whole two pounds on. Too bad he didn't win.
But seriously, so much fun!! Now for some phone pics.
