Italy Adventures (Day One)

Johnny and I celebrated our 8th anniversary in the best way imaginable, in Italy!  This was my very first overnight travel away from my Hazelnut, and although I missed her a lot, it was pretty amazing to stroll through the streets and stop and go as we pleased.

Thanks to our amazing friends (shout out to Matt and Jeane) for taking in Hazel for 3 nights and 3 days.  It was so wonderful to not have to worry for one second about Hazel's wellbeing.  Thanks guys so-oo much!

So our journey began by hopping on a 2 hour flight to Pisa, and then an hour or so drive to Florence!  We weren't prepared to be as sweaty as we were, but thank goodness for their famous Gelato for getting us through our days there.  I lost count how many times we ate it...ahem.
