Disneyland Paris (Day One)

We decided to break the 'Thanksgiving tradition' and head over to Disneyland Paris.  This is our third excursion there (spoiled, I know), but we just can't help it when it's so close, and Hazel loves it probably even more than I do.  Shocking, I know.  This was a first for us though to go to a Disney park while it was decorated for Christmas.  Even more magical!

There were a lot of ups and unfortunately downs during our three day Disney filled weekend, but overall it was a successful and fun Thanksgiving holiday.

(Hazel was not too pleased to see Rapunzel around the corner (after our long wait), because Cinderella is her favorite princess.  Apparently you can only have one favorite princess...)

(Hazel did however request a photo with Jack the skeleton.  But she was sad that this Santa didn't give her a present afterwards.)  :)

The pros of day one:

1. Hazel was so happy to go to a hotel, and of course to go to Disneyland.

2. I was able to get a special pregnancy pass, which allowed us to get right onto the permitted pregnancy rides.  Amazing!

3. Hazel's favorite ride is Pirate's Halloween Ride, a.k.a Phantom Manor, a.k.a The Haunted Mansion.  Silly girl.  (Second favorite is Pirates of the Caribbean).

4. We ate delicious crepes outside of the park (sadly no pics included).

The cons:

1. It was very cold.

2. Our stroller got stolen, which had my brand new maternity jacket in it...

good news

(After a good deal of stress, our stroller and jacket reappeared a couple hours later.  Phew!!!)

3. Hazel started complaining about a stomach ache.  More on that later...

4. My pregnant body already felt crippled after just day one.  Two more days to go...

Haha this happened to us too! We waited FOREVER to see tinkerbell and Adelle was so mad when it was a boy fairy at the end of the long wait :) Hahah!
