Happy Birthday Milo!

Cannot believe this day is here, and I'm not going to lie but I'm feeling a bit emotional over it. 

Milo is one year old, and boy do we love him!

- He's not a walker yet, but he can stand unassisted, and walk with a little help of course.

- He can crawl ridiculously fast, to try and outsmart his momma.

- He is officially in everything; cupboards, drawers and everything naughty.

- He loves to eat!  He's not too picky either which is extra awesome.

- He makes an 'oh' mouth often because he sees so many neat things, (It's adorable).  These balloons were extra exciting to him.

- He gives kisses to daddy regularly, but he makes me work hard for them..

- He's a great napper, but still doesn't sleep through the night.  He still likes a top-up usually twice though.  Little rascal has me wrapped around his finger.

- He loves to dance, play the piano, and sing really loud when mommy's singing.  Completely precious.

- He loves the outdoors, crawling in the grass, and watching cars drive by.

- He has 8 teeth, and he likes to innocently bite his family..

- He likes to help me in the kitchen..

- He likes to eat his books.

- His eyes melt me.  That's also the feature strangers constantly compliment.  

- He loves to say "uh-oh", and he also understands what it means, so when I hear him say it, I have to assume there's a mess involved, or a toy that has dropped.

- He can also say "All-done", and "mih" (milk).  

- He understands a handful of sign language signs, and sometimes demonstrates by doing them.

- He still gets startled pretty easily, but he loves the vacuum and blender..

- He's still a pretty good shopping buddy.  He's a people watcher.

- He's happy almost always, during the day-time hours anyway, and such a joy to have around.

- He loves bath time.

- He has a bit of stranger danger, but people can win him over pretty quickly.

I honestly cannot believe he's been in our lives for 1 whole year!  He is such a joy to have in our family, and we love him so much it hurts.

Happy birthday sweet Milo Jude!  We love you more than all the stars in the sky!!
