Well, summer has come and gone...
But it was a good one.
July is always a fun month for us, because of the 4th, Johnny's birthday, our anniversary and Pioneer Day.
We spent the 4th down in Glenwood with the Foster fam, and it was loads of fun!

I look forward to birthdays with this one, because he gets better every year.
We had a fun reunion in Heber, with the Duchesne boys.
Other highlights of our summer include relaxing, playgrounds, picnics, movies, visits to doctor Johnny Foster, Hazel's first swimming lessons, recording studios, MoTab concert with friends, a day at the Aquarium, and watching Peter Pan at the Hale Theater with grandma and grandpa Foster.
Johnny also went to his home towns and ran a 5k with his friends, followed by his favorite pastime: cliff jumping.
Still no cavities for this girl!
A fun and brief meet up with our American friends, Jared & Adri, who lived in England with us!
Next up: The youngest yet tallest Foster brother finally got hitched! So we made the trek to Idaho for a wonderful wedding and celebration. Such a nice day! And little boys in suspenders and bow ties are THE cutest. (Even when they're ornery).
Wedding is over, so on to our main highlight of the summer: A visit back to beautiful Montana to see my sis and her fam!
The house, the scenery, the chickens, the natural swimming pond, the Amish ice cream, the Amish painting my sister did with a familiar cute little face, and of course the company is what made this trip extra magical. It was a much needed break, and we loved every minute!
I couldn't leave without taking photos of my beautiful niece and nephew!
Thanks again Rachelle and Greg for being the best hosts imaginable! Can't wait for our next visit!
(And I have to give a quick shout out to my all-star travelers! Thanks to technology and snacks, these two didn't whimper once on our 9 1/2 hour drive back home!)
Lastly, our little miss Hazel is officially a first grader! She started today and had a great day (minus a bus hiccup). So glad she has so many sweet friends to help her enjoy school that much more!
Wow, that was a long post!
Until next time! :)
