This morning...

My sweet little Hazel isn't so sweet when it comes to sleeping. She is usually a cat-napper in the day, and she likes to wake up every 1-3 hours in the night. It gets pretty exhausting. Anyhow, I found that swaddling and white noise is the only thing that gives me a few treasured hours of sleep. I usually feel pretty grumpy in the night, but when I walk in her room and find her like this, it pretty much turns my frown upside down.

(keep in mind that I left her tightly swaddled; arms pinned down to the max!)

Busted!

Oh and yesterday Johnny gave Hazel a quick lesson on hearing protection.

I too love seeing that little face poking through. Good thing she does cute things so that being so tired doesn't seem so bad. Love ya!

You just can't get mad at that sweet little face. She is so cute. I hope she starts to sleep at nights soon. My little Natalie was like that for the first year, so I feel for you.

Haha and it's just impossible to stay irritated when they are SO cute and innocent! I didn't know she slept so... little. That is too bad! I hope she gets better soon! We have swaddled Pais SO TIGHT from the day we brought her home, and she sleeps well, but now it's the only way she does sleep! If her hand squirms out and touches her face it wakes her up:)

Oh my!!! Don't you love those nights where you get out of bed fighting the urge to scream and then when you look at them it's like, "Aw shucks!" :-) Little turds. We love them anyways, huh!!! Did you try the oatmeal by chance??? bailee's finally sleeping a little better.... I hope it helps Hazel!

These pix are adorable! Sorry she is not sleeping, sleep deprivation is the W.O.R.S.T. White noise, swaddling, and a passy is what saved us. Bless that passy. Will you be in UT for Christmas?? I want to love on your baby.... and you too, but mostly your baby. Miss you!
p.s. there is a very good chance we are going to end up at lackland.
