What I loved most about Halloween this year is that we could spend it with family, and the weather was incredible! What I didn't like, was that Johnny wasn't able to join us for the festivities..
Hazel is also a My Little Pony lover, and so this year she was thrilled to be Pinkie Pie. I curled her hair for the first time ever, and even gave her a little make-up. She looked so grown-up and gorgeous; I couldn't believe it. Milo was a monster, and a dang cute one too. And I cleverly created a witch costume in 2.5 seconds..
Hazel enjoyed playing Halloween Bingo with the big girls, and then later we joined my sis and her fam for some trick-or treating. (I later found out that Hazel was grabbing handfuls of candy at each house...whoops, someone wasn't paying attention to their child.)
(Also, since I'm not a fan of Hazel consuming loads of candy, but also not wanting to deprive her of a fun time, I ever so sneakingly swapped her candy out for healthified candy. She had no idea! She was also beyond thrilled with her stash, and I gave myself a solid pat on the back for that one. Sadly I probably won't get away with that next year though...oh well I guess).
Hazel had the most magical day ever! (I also think 4-years-old is so far my favorite stage.)
Until next year.
