This week Johnny's sister and her family came to stay with us. We had a blast Sunday through Wednesday, but come Thursday, things kind of took a turn. Take a gander of our almost perfect week...

We went to Corpus Christi to visit the beach. We had an awesome time!! The water temperature was PERFECT, and the beach was nice and sandy. The only two problems were that it was extremely windy, and the sun was deceiving!
So remember how I said that the sun was deceiving? Well we all got home that night after hours of sun exposure and realized that we were pretty much all FRIED!!!! I woke up the next morning to my lips looking like this. My bottom lip was seriously 7 times its original size. So instead of going back to Sea World on Thursday, we all hobbled around in our skimpies, and grunted, groaned, and felt sorry for ourselves.
Poor poor Johnny is burnt to a crisp! His whole back is covered in blisters!
So this is the part of our week that was rather unfortunate! Thanks Julie and Kirk for driving all the way out here though. We hope that you are healing and that you kind of had a fun time here. We LOVED having you so please come back soon!!

ah that looks terrible. although i wouldn't mind having swollen lips (as you know my lips are quite thin)
the parties and beach fun did look awesome though.

Dang! That is what I was going to say, your lips look like the wanted Angelina Jolie's Are you really complaining? You'll never forget sunscreen again! Johnny looks painful!

Oh my!!! I totally thought that you computerized your lips! Are those for real? They are HUGE!!! Ouch!! I'm glad you had fun in the sun... a little too much fun it looks like:)
