We heard good things about the Bernkastel Christmas Market (thanks Rachel), but we were sad to find out that it wasn't opened when we were able to go. We thought we had better check out this cute place anyway, and I'm so glad that we did.
Bernkastel is currently my favorite German village that I've been to. I loved being there pre-market to walk the quiet streets and watch all of the decorations go up.
And I completely loved that they turned a little quaint house into an actual advent calendar! Too bad we didn't get to witness any of the windows open up.
(Many more German adventures coming...)
