Holland (Day One)

It's so amazing that a couple hours this way or that, we can be in a new country.  We decided to go to Holland for our final adventures with my mom, which was so thrilling since none of us have ever been.
It was only about a five hour drive to get to Holland from my house, and our first stop was to a place called Kinderdijk.

Kinderdijk is a village in the Netherlands, and is best known for having 19 windmills that were built around 1740.  Also, this group of windmills is the largest concentration of old windmills in the Netherlands, making this a World Heritage Site.

It was magical.

 More to come...
