After visiting Hadrian's wall (from last post), we drove to Durham, ate some grub and stayed the night.
(Durham was a cute little place, and we later found out that a hand full of movies had been filmed there. And Durham Cathedral has been featured in Harry Potter as Hogwarts).
The following morning we drove to York and climbed the steps to Clifford's Tower, followed by a stroll through the high street. I really enjoyed the high street because of the many adorable shops and good food there. I got the most delicious beet juice that Hazel refused to share with me.
Other things that made me smile were; Hazel chasing the ducks and laughing her head off, and discovering Whip Ma Whop Ma Gate.
(And once again, some of these photos were captured by my mother-in-law).
