Another year older

My sweet husband had a birthday, but had to work all day, so we just enjoyed an evening out at the Tuddenham Mill.  This place was definitely the most tasty place we've been to so far in England (and the priciest...)

Here, we tried many new foods and food combinations which was really exciting, while overlooking a beautiful view of trees and swans.

Delicious bread with fresh unpasteurized butter.

Some type of mushroom pudding with daisy pedals;
and a slow cooked hen's egg with nettle juice, baked oats, and cauliflower.

Here's my delicious Cornish plaice with Samphire and grilled little gems.

And here's Johnny's beautifully presented lamb rump and shoulder with fennel and quinoa.

Now to finish we were in awe with the whipped sea buckthorn, tonka bean, goosberries, and crispy rice;
and the egg custard tart with buttermilk, and nutmeg.  Yum!

And those are the ingredients as best as I can remember.  Talk about interesting and exquisite!

Happy birthday my handsome.
