Our Roman Holiday (Day One)

What an absolute treat it was for Johnny and me to have a weekend get-a-way, without the munchkin, to Rome, Italy!

We took a short flight there, and enjoyed seeing the sites, eating the food, and indulging in some gelato (four times to be exact). The temperatures were nicer than in England, but unfortunately it did rain a good portion of the time.

Highlights of day one were seeing the Trevi Fountain and The Pantheon, eating gelato, and sitting on The Spanish Steps.  I thought for a moment that I was Audrey Hepburn...

(And Johnny was a good sport for walking at a snail's pace, staying in stride with this pregnant snail.)
