Belgium (Part Two)

Our second day in Belgium started off in Brugge.  It was a very cute place; beautiful buildings, chocolate shops, and horse carriages.  It was also much more crowded and touristy than Ghent, but we enjoyed our time there.

My favorite part was listening to this street performer.  He was hilarious and so talented.  I really wish I would've recorded a clip of him, because he was amazing.  Other highlights were learning about the history of Chocolate at Choco-Story, and of course sampling chocolates.

My least favorite part was going into a little restaurant known for having amazing Belgium waffles.  It was early afternoon, and there was only one other table taken in the whole restaurant.  I approached the  hostess, and asked if we could have a waffle.  She said, of course, and found us a table.  After we told her we wanted just one decked-out waffle, she rudely told us that we cannot take a whole table and just order one waffle with no other food or drinks.  She then told us to leave.  Hazel bawled the whole way out, and I kind of wanted to kick the lady in the shins.  But oh well, we got frozen yogurt down the street instead...

All in all, we had a good time exploring Brugge.  :)

Still a teensy bit left...

Wow those chocolates look amazing. And you should have taken a picture of that jerk lady. Maybe that's why the other tables are empty.
