From Scotland, we hopped on the Ferry to Belfast, Ireland. This was all new to us, and actually quite fun. You just drive your car on to the boat, then wander around for around 2 hours. They have food, shops, arcades, and movies playing. Not too bad.
Ireland...what a gorgeous place! We went to the more southern parts of Ireland last year, and loved it, so this time we explored the northern areas. We started by taking a coastal drive through the Glens of Antrim, first seeing the beautiful walls of Glenarm Castle, followed by our first official stop at Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. My mom and I were not brave enough to walk across, but it was no sweat for the boys. What a beautiful area, and what a beautiful day!
Next up, Giant's Causeway!
