We like to eat out on Fridays, and so last night we tried the Walnut tree, located only a couple minutes from our house. We were pleasantly surprised. Once I did the pound to dollar conversion though it was a little pricier than I'd like, but at least it was delicious.
Hazel enjoyed her dinner of gourmet peas.
Johnny ordered the slow cooked brisket with horseradish mash, and I ordered the butternut squash curry.
The verdict: Johnny enjoyed it, but wouldn't order it again. Becky thought it was so incredible she wanted to share with Hazel, and forgot that it was pretty spicy...whoops. (The chef could've eliminated the seeds and strings from the squash to give it even one more star).
These pics don't do justice coming from my little point and shoot camera, but they looked and tasted super. We also tried the fried Brie, yum.
Friday night date night; success.

I love that the Hazel gets to share in your date nights! You look beautiful as always and the food looks yummy! Everything is so cute in England. Really hope I can make it there sometime!
