Thanks to the Tatton girls, Johnny and I were able to leave the wee one for the day and head to London to see...
Not only is Les Mis one of my all time favorite shows, we specifically picked this day to see the one and only Alfie Boe. I kind of wanted to cry when I saw this sign...
Luckily Jean Valjean was still amazing.
(sad, and funny story: During a dramatic scene, Jean Valjean's wig began to come off. Then it fell all the way off. He then tried to put it back on and didn't succeed. Frustrated, but still amazingly staying in character and sounding stellar while wearing a nylon cap, he chucked that stupid wig viciously off stage. Then the crowd burst into laughter and clapping).
Our tickets were inexpensive because of our restricted view. It didn't bother me a whole lot since the theater was on the small side, but hopefully we'll get better seats next time.
I wish that I could've stopped time today, because I was absolutely in heaven. But I sure did miss my little baby cakes being away from her for so long. At least she got a good report card from the sitters.

What a fun day. Your picture showing the sign of Les Miserables and the Footloose sign on the bus going by was quite unique; since those two plays you were in at PHS. Now, here you are in London seeing Les Miserables. And what a funny experience with the wig. Sorry about Alfie Boe. Bec, you looked adorable. You are a very nice looking couple.
SO glad you had fun. SO sad you didn't get to see who you wanted. You look SO hot. SO wish you could have suspended time.
My falling-apart map is now famous because it's on your blog! :) Glad you still enjoyed the show despite missing its star. (and despite having a nosy friend try to give you bogus directions...)
What a fun day! That is so funny about the wig!
fun!! Les Mis just came to DC, we tried getting tickets, but no dice. that is blandon's favorite show too. i love your face.
FUN! Bri and I were laughing so hard about that Jean valjean story. I can't believe he threw his wig off the stage. YOu look really cool in your black jacket and boots. YOu definitely look like a European.
I am so glad you and your hubby were able to get out and have a date! Keep posting...I love reading your blog!
Fun! I love Les Mis. I'm jealous. When I aw it in London we had such horrible seats...i could barely see anything and I'm ashamed to admit that i actually fell asleep. Love you!
